1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Echoes, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Echoes is an AI-powered platform that transforms photos into animated videos. We provide tools for creating, editing, and sharing video content.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Not upload inappropriate or harmful content
  • Maintain the security of your account

3.1 Photos of Other People

You confirm that for every photo you upload, you are either (a) the person in the photo, (b) have permission from the person in the photo, or (c) have parental authority over a child shown in the photo. If we receive a credible request from a person identifiable in your uploads, we may remove the affected content. You will indemnify Echoes against claims arising from photos you upload without the required permission.

3.2 Prohibited Content

You may not use Echoes to generate or upload content that:

  • depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent in intimate, defamatory, or politically misleading contexts;
  • depicts sexual content of any kind involving minors, or non-consensual sexual content involving anyone;
  • promotes violence, terrorism, hate, or harassment against a person or group;
  • infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, and report illegal content to authorities without prior notice.

4. Payment Terms

Echoes operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased as one-time payments through our payment processor (currently Freemius). Credits do not expire. Pricing is shown on the credits purchase page and may change over time; you will only be charged the price shown at the moment of purchase. Section 4.5 (30-day money-back guarantee) is offered in addition to any statutory rights you have under applicable law, including the 14-day cooling-off period under Israeli Consumer Protection Law §14C.

4.5. 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for customers who are not satisfied with their purchase. To request a refund:

  • Submit a refund request through our contact page within 30 days of purchase
  • Include your email address, purchase date, and reason for refund
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 4-10 business days
  • All refund requests are subject to review

Abuse Prevention:

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear to be abusive, including but not limited to:

  • Multiple refund requests from the same user for separate purchases made over time
  • Any other patterns that indicate systematic abuse of our refund guarantee

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of photos you upload. You own the videos Echoes generates from your uploads, subject to: (a) any third-party rights in the source photos, (b) the watermark on free clips remaining intact when shared, and (c) compliance with section 3.2. By using the service, you grant Echoes a limited, non-exclusive license to process your uploads solely to provide the service — including sending them to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

We provide the service "as is" and make no warranties about the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Echoes.
